The Conference DLT 2010 (under the auspices of AE) will be held on August 17-20, 2010, London, Ontario, Canada.

An AE Conference of IS and ECS, supported by JUCS (under the auspices of AE), will be held in Graz, Austria, on August 30-31, 2010. More details will be posted in September 2009. First outline.

The Conference Petri Nets 2010 (under the auspices of AE) will be held on June 21-25, 2010 in Braga, Portugal.

The Conference Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science (under the auspices of AE) will be held on August 24-28, 2009 in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Workshop on Reconciling Performance with Predictability (under the auspices of AE) will be held in Grenoble, France, on Oct. 15, 2009.

The 4th European Trusted Infrastructure Summerschool (under the auspices of AE) will be held in Graz, Austria, from 29th August to 4th September 2009.

The 9-th international Conference on Knowledge Management and Semantics (under the auspices of AE) will be held in Graz, Austria, September 2-4, 2009.

The Symposium Information Processing Modern Perspectives (under the auspices of AE), in honour of Academician Arto Salomaa's 75th Birthday, was held in Turku, Finland, May 25, 2009. Symposium pictures.

On September 18-20, 2008 The 20th Anniversary Conference of AE was held in Liverpool. On this occasion Cristian Calude has organised the Workshop Grand Challenges of Unconventional Computation. A review of this event by Dr. I. Potapov has appeared in the Bulletin of the EATCS, February 2009.

The Section organised a symposium on Grand Challenges of Informatics on Sep. 19-20, 2006 at the AE Annual Conference in Budapest.
