Is a fully peer reviewed, quarterly journal covering topics of more general scholarly interest across the natural sciences, arts, humanities and letters. The focus is primarily on Europe. The current Editor-in- Chief is Professor Theo D'Haen. Deputy editors are: Professor Henk Wesseling. Papers should be submitted to any of the editors. Is the 'in-house' newsletter for members of the Academy.
The Higher Education Research and Culture in European Society [HERCULES] group of Academy members, organise annual conferences that address topics of relevance to higher education in Europe. Each symposium is accompanied by a volume. Many have been published by The Portland Press, under the sponsorship of the Wenner Gren Foundations, or by the Academia Europaea is itself. A full list can be accessed here, or for the Wenner Gren series from the Portland press. Some are available free of charge from the Secretariat in London.
The Council on an ad hoc basis publishes opinions and commentaries on issues relevant to the development and operation of European Research Policy. A list can be found here.
The Academia Europaea is a founding member of this group of European Academies. EASAC sets up ad hoc panels of experts to produce statements, opinions and analyses on issues of direct relevance to European society and general public policy. EASAC provides expert advice to the institutions of the European Union. For more detailed information go to the EASAC website, where a full list of publications can be found.
Wherever possible, the Academia Europaea will seek to publish selected papers from our meetings either as a 'Focus' within a noirmnal issue of 'The European Review', or as a supplemetary issue of the Review.
