Activities of the Academia Europaea
The Academia Europaea meets its objectives in a number of ways: through organising workshops, conferences and expert meetings; through publications and by providing independent expert opinions and advice. The Academia also participates in research projects and other similar interdisciplinary activities, where there is a genuine international dimension and which will benefit from an Academia presence.
The overarching purpose of all of the activities of the Academia can be seen as addressing issues in science, technology and the humanities, that are of topical concern to European society.
