- Invited speaker at the International Congress of Mathematicians in 2014, speaking in the section on "Dynamical Systems and Ordinary Differential Equations"
- ERC Advanced Grant , 2018, (1.8 million Euro), to develop tools of mathematical analysis for the description of the dynamical systems originating in natural physical models, which have hitherto defied rigorous study due to the presence of singularities
